Tucker Carlson keeps paddling ruzzzian propaganda narrative about the persecution of Christians in Ukraine. It’s a lie that is pushed by ruzzzians in an attempt to discredit Ukraine. They can’t make their crimes to appear any less criminal, so the only thing they have left is to try to push the ridiculous idea that somehow these crimes are justifiable – it’s war of Holy ruzzzi against global evil.
My friends following me on Facebook can see for themselves that Christians in Ukraine are not persecuted. Every Sunday, I share photos from our church. We are a part of a larger network of churches and we actually planted 3 new churches since the start of the big ruzzian invazion a year ago. There is plenty of freedom and churches are growing. In Uman two of our churches went to two services recently because their buildings can’t accommodate the growing numbers in one service.
Tucker Carlson and a guest of his program Magan Basham wondered why Christian leaders in the West were not raising the issue of religious persecution in Ukraine. It’s because Christian leaders know the truth and they do not have to just blindly parrot ruzzian propaganda.
So why is Ruzzian/Ukrainian Orthodox church is being investigated by authorities in Ukraine? I would have to write a very long post to explain all that. I will try to do it in the shortest and simplest terms.
Let me try to put you in our shoes. Imagine UK decides to invade the USA on the pretext of reclaiming its “historical lands”. Imagine there is a big influential NGO with branches in every city, town and village of the States that is brainwashing people that this invasion is justifiable, that those lands should belong to UK and leaders of NGO activity collaborate with invaders. Imagine that many leaders of that NGO have been officers of the secret services of UK. Would authorities of your country want to stop the activities of this NGO?
This is exactly what is happening to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate. By the way, it has a word “Ukrainian” in its name but it is directly reporting to Moscow – there is nothing Ukrainian about it other than that one word in the name. There is actually an independent Ukrainian Orthodox church that has no problems with Ukrainian authorities; they are not investigated.
Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate has always been undermining Ukrainian independence. But dealing with them (like it’s being done now) has always been a risk of creating division in society. Now that we are not just in a hybrid war with ruzzia but in an open war, it’s time to clean up all spheres of our society from planted agents of ruzzian influence, including the church.
Churches in this Moscow Patriarchate have been not only brainwashing people in ruzzian propaganda, they have been hiding supplies and ammunition for ruzzians invaders, priests sometimes coordinated artillery fire to help enemy army. Ukrainian Orthodox church of Moscow Patriarchate is not a church. It’s a dangerous sect that is serving political interests of another country.
In Soviet times communists tried to destroy church, to illuminate faith, but at some point they realized it was impossible. So instead they decided to lead the church. From Soviet times the priests in high leadership positions in Orthodox church have been appointed by KGB. Soviets/ruzzians will not be the first and not the last to manipulate religion and church for their own benefit. Clean-up of ruzzian orthodox church from KGB agents in Ukraine is not persecution of Christians. These are wolves in sheepskins. Since this big invazzion started a year ago a lot of believers who had attended Ukrainian Orthodox church of Moscow Patriarchate left that church and started worshiping in independent Ukrainian Orthodox church. But there are still people who are under the brainwashing of Ukrainian Orthodox church of Moscow Patriarchate. That is more dangerous in days of war than it was before and no other country would tolerate this kind of activity even in times of peace.
The topic of corruption and treachery of Ruzzzian Orthodox church can be another long post. The point of this one is to say once again, there is more religious freedom in Ukraine than in most countries that I know, including the USA.
As for Tucker Carlson, he is a liar and a mouthpiece of ruzzian propaganda in the USA. He is not a journalist, he is a manipulator who intentionally misleads people.
