From Euromaiden Press: “Crime Without Punishment”: Students bring 50-kilogram book of Russian war crimes in Ukraine to the EU
Created by students of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy and presented in the EU, the book, which is an allusion to Russian classics, was “inspired” by the arrest warrant for Russian Children’s Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova in a court in The Hague.
“The warrant is a relatively small document that does not convey the full weight of the Russian Federation’s crimes against humanity, deliberate attempts to erase the ethnic and national identity of the deported Ukrainian children. And given that no one has been detained, it is currently a crime without punishment,” the authors of the book explained.
The idea for the book belongs to the Ukrainian creative agency Bickerstaff.942. At the same time, the agency notes that the book is not yet complete, as many materials about the abduction of children by the occupiers remain classified.
