Reposted by Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv: I posted a video yesterday of a song that was performed during the semi-finals of Eurovision 2023. That song beautifully and painfully shows the broken lives and hearts of millions of Ukrainians in the past 14 months.
I couldn’t hold tears when I was watching it. This song as a cry of the heart of millions of people in Ukraine who lost homes and whose families are separated by war is in such contrast with a farce of a “Victory” parade in Moscow where bloodthirst and intimidation of others are celebrated by a cult of war that has taken over the whole country.
