Mykhailo and Daryna were temporarily separated, but their love for each other remains steadfast.
Mykhailo risked his life to fight for Ukraine, but he got caught in a tank battle that left him with a severe spinal injury. He has lost all movement in his arms and legs and his body is covered with shrapnel wounds. He is currently receiving treatment at the Mechnikov Hospital’s intensive care unit, drifting in and out of consciousness.
A smile spreads across Mykhailo’s lips whenever he mentions Daryna’s name. For him, life and love are intertwined, and he draws strength from the thought of his beloved.
Daryna is constantly by his side, resting her head on his chest, listening to the beating of his heart, and offering him comfort and solace. She tenderly caresses his hair, gives him gentle kisses, and holds him tightly, reluctant to let go even for a moment.
Their love has already been sealed in heaven, but Mykhailo and Daryna plan to formalize their union soon. They are set to be married in Mechnikov Hospital, Dnipro, where they have found themselves amid the chaos of war. Despite the challenges they face, Mykhailo and Daryna’s love continues to shine brightly, offering them hope and a reason to persevere.
