I remember when we were nearing the end of the first month of this full-scale war, and I was afraid of the count of days going into double digits… The next milestone came when I ran out of psalms for each day of this invasion… Now, we’ve gone over the book of Psalms three times. How many times will I go over it by the time the war ends?
Last week, it was reported that Russia had lost 200,000 soldiers (201,706, according to today’s report). How much is that? It is 13 times more than the Soviet Army lost during the Afghanistan war (1979-1989). Is it caring for its people?
Adding up the cost of all missiles fired at Ukraine on May 16, it amounts to $119 million. This money could have been spent on constructing a surgical hospital, 24 schools, or 1,664 bomb shelters. Instead of being put to good use, they were sent to kill. And millions of dollars are sent every day for this sole purpose. We haven’t had a siren-free night over the past week. Today, it looks like they sent lots of kamikaze drones at Kyiv and northwest regions. I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep sending at least something every night to terrorize the civilians. They really learn nothing.
And once again, we are not surprised. Ukrainians have coined the term “ruscism” to define the current regime in Russia – a neo-imperialist totalitarian dictatorship that is repeating the worst practices of the past and embodies the ideas of fascism and national socialism in the modern version of Russian fascism. Its roots are deep and wicked. Its future is terrifying. It also explains how ruscism perverts religion (starting at 30:34 in the video) and shows the main cathedral for the Russian Armed Forces. This very sinister place seems too insane to exist in real life and appears to be a good illustration of the word “abomination.”

It is sad that the enemy does not realize the truths you are talking about. Like David, I pray (2 Samuel 15: “O LORD, please turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness!”
