From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (468th day): We went to bed at 1am to the sound of air raids and reports of explosions in the Kyiv region. In the morning, we found out that all 35 missiles of ruzzian terrorists were destroyed by our air defense!
But a massive missile strike was not the only thing that terrorist state ruzzia was busy with last night. In the Kherson region, the ruzzian occupation forces had blown up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant in an attempt to slow down Ukrainian army offensive. It is already resulting in the flooding of many villages and part of the city of Kherson. Experts are saying that this is the biggest man-made catastrophe of XXI century. The consequences to ecology and to the lives of hundreds of thousands of people are going to be significant and long-lasting.
“This is ecocide. Ruzzians will be responsible for the drinking water deficit for people in the south of the Kherson Region and Crimea, the destruction of some villages, and the biosphere. Also, their actions pose a threat to Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power station.”
This is another senseless war crime. The biggest flooding is taking place in the areas still occupied by invaders. They are just set on destroying everything as they retreat.
Update:
1335 houses are completely under water on the right bank of Kherson region. It’s not known how much damage was done on the left bank that is currently occupied by ruzzians, but left bank took the most significant part of flooding.
