6/14/2023 – “Lord, put to shame those who rejoice in wickedness and save those who take refuge in You!”

From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 475):

Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous.
Psalm 25:3

Last night, the Russians attacked the city of Kryvyi Rih with high-precision missiles. They killed 11 people and left dozens wounded and homeless. Was it an accident? I don’t believe it was. Besides a residential building, they hit a warehouse that had a large supply of bottled water to be sent to Kherson. Accident?

It’s hard to come up with words. Every time, we thank the Lord for protection, for allowing our air-defense forces to shoot down most of the missiles and drones, for the consequences could have been much worse.

They use this terror to boost their spirits and show the Russian population how “powerful” and “glorious” they are. Lord, put to shame those who rejoice in wickedness and save those who take refuge in You!
