6/29/2023 – “Ruzzia is a terrorist state and its population is complacent with crime…”

From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (490th day): Ruzzia, a terrorist state, continues attacking Ukrainian cities with missiles. Yesterday a crowded area of Kramatorsk got hit by one of ruzzian missiles. At this point, it’s known that 11 people have been killed (three of them are kids) and 61 people have been injured. Eight month old baby is among the injured. The photo of that baby is in many FB posts of Ukrainians today. I am sure many of those posts are hidden by FB as the world would prefer not to see things like this. We would like not to see and experience these horrors either, but Ukraine has no choice.

It has been 490 days, but we still keep wondering, after yet another terrorist attack, how this can be allowed, how ruzzia is still a part of international organizations, how Olympic committee wants to see ruzzian athletes compete at international events, how someone can be defending ruzzian culture. Ruzzia is a terrorist state and its population is complacent with crime. There is a collective responsibility for action and inaction that leads to these atrocities.

  1. 2 Sam.12:17-23
David pleaded with God for the child. He fasted and went into his house and spent the nights lying on the ground.
The elders of his household stood beside him to get him up from the ground, but he refused, and he would not eat any food with them.
On the seventh day the child died. David’s servants were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they thought, “While the child was still living, we spoke to David but he would not listen to us. How can we tell him the child is dead? He may do something desperate.”
David noticed that his servants were whispering among themselves and he realized the child was dead. “Is the child dead?” he asked. “Yes,” they replied, “he is dead.”
Then David got up from the ground. After he had washed, put on lotions and changed his clothes, he went into the house of the LORD and worshiped. Then he went to his own house, and at his request they served him food, and he ate.
His servants asked him, “Why are you acting this way? While the child was alive, you fasted and wept, but now that the child is dead, you get up and eat!”
He answered, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept. I thought, `Who knows? The LORD may be gracious to me and let the child live.’
But now that he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”

  2. Lament.2:11-12
    My eyes fail from weeping,
    I am in torment within;
my heart is poured out on the ground
    because my people are destroyed,
    because children and infants faint
in the streets of the city.
    They say to their mothers,
    “Where is bread and wine?”
as they faint like the wounded
in the streets of the city,
    as their lives ebb away
    in their mothers’ arms.
    Rev.21:3-5
I [John] heard a great voice out of heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.’
And HE that sat upon the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And HE said unto me, ‘Write: for these words are true and faithful.’
