From Euromaiden Press: Border crossing data shows Ukraine lost 2.4 million citizens due to migration during the war, not counting occupied areas. The UN counts 6.2 million refugees. The difference is because the UN counts refugees in Russia according to Russian “data” and doesn’t count Ukrainians who used to work in the EU before the war and returned to Ukraine.
