Posted by Sergei Nakul (Pastor of Big City Church in Kyiv): Hello, friends! Today, as we celebrate the Independence Day, I recall the words of Lyubomir Guzar, “To be free is to be responsible.”

That is, a free man is not the one who does everything that zamanet льноsâ, but the one who lives and acts responsibly.

But to whom is responsible?

Before God and man.

That’s why the preamble of our Constitution says, “Realizing accountability before God…”.

On this day, may we all be truly free people living on God-given earth, aware of our responsibility to Him and each other.

“Rely on the Lord and good does, dwell on the earth and works God’s truth!” Psalm 36:3
