From Ira Kapitonova near Kyiv (Day 548):
The Lord has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
Psalm 98:2
I came across a striking illustration of hope. It is the picture of the bottom of the Kakhovka Reservoir, which became shallow after the Russian occupiers blew up the Kakhovka HPP. However, instead of a devastated desert, you see a land covered with green plants.
Of course, it wasn’t an accident. The Kamianska Sich Park planted the reservoir with clover, alfalfa, and other plants to prevent dust storms and the spread of alien species.
Some may argue, but for me, this greenery is a sign of hope, a promise that new life can arise where devastation once laid.
Lord, our land needs your healing!
