From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 582):
This is my resting place forever;
here I will dwell, for I have desired it.
I will abundantly bless her provisions;
I will satisfy her poor with bread.
Psalm 132:14-15
I came across an interesting research today. The Center for Insights in Survey Research polled young Ukrainian people (10-35 years old) to find out how they feel about their future.
89% of young people aged 16-35 living in Ukraine see the future of Ukraine as hopeful, are convinced of Ukraine’s victory in the war (98%) and want to participate in the reconstruction process.A large number of young people donate money for military and social needs – 92% and 76% respectively.
I understand that some of these respondents are too young and inexperienced to make an educated decision, still, it is hopeful to see such decisiveness. At the same time, it is not surprising — most of them have friends, fathers, or brothers fighting at the frontlines and they don’t want their sacrifice to be in vain.
