Today another country is being shaken by thousands of explosions of terrorist attacks that took lives and injured hundreds of people.
A friend, Oleksandr Paskhover wrote today: “Maybe he doesn’t look like a terrorist. But all the terrorists in the world are like him. Today’s attack by Hamas on Israel and their killing of the civilians of poor Sderot proves this formula of the brotherhood of world terror.
What Hamas is doing it for? After all, there will be no victory. Yes, but terrorists are not about victory. The terrorists are about maintaining power in the territory they have taken hostage. In this case, it is the Gaza Strip. The next stop is the Palestinian Authority.
And the World will helplessly watch this performance called Death. The world is becoming more and more fragile, like the feet of a Colossus from the Book of Daniel:
“As the toes were partly iron and partly clay, so this kingdom will be partly strong and partly brittle.”
While a much stronger democratic world is too cautious and afraid of escalation, terrorists of this world help each other and escalate without any concern. Ruzzia gets Iranian drones and provides Iran with bombs, Iran gives Hamas the bombs that are crowding the skies of Israel now. The escalation doesn’t come from helping countries defend their land but from fear of escalation, fear of bullies like ruzzia and iran. That fear empowers terrorists for bolder crimes.
