10/11/2023 – We are bracing ourselves for the upcoming winter season, while keeping in mind God’s faithfulness…

From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 594):

Stretch out your hand from on high;
rescue me and deliver me from the many waters,
from the hand of foreigners,
whose mouths speak lies and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
Psalm‬ ‭144:7‭-‬8‬ ‭

A year ago, on October 10, 2022, we experienced the first massive attack on our energy system. The Russians launched over 80 missiles of various types and more than 20 drones. At that and over the next few days, 28 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, leaving millions of Ukrainians without electricity. And the terror continued. From October 10, 2022, to March 9, 2023, our power infrastructure was hit 271 times. Yet our power engineers were able to do the impossible and restore the power supply in a matter of hours.

We are bracing ourselves for the upcoming winter season, while keeping in mind God’s faithfulness.

Meanwhile, the situation at the frontlines remains serious. Russia has started an offensive campaign on Avdiivka, and the city has been under intense shelling and bombing for hours. Some experts say Russia may have received a weapon supply from Iran and North Korea.

Lord, have mercy!
