From Olena Zelenska (First Lady of Ukraine): 🇸🇪 They started a dynasty of Kiev princes, sailed the Dnieper for centuries and forever became part of our history and legends. Scandinavian sailors, known as Vikings, will now talk about their adventures in Ukrainian at the Viking Museum in Stockholm. In this institution opens a Ukrainian audio guide – an integral part of our multi-year project for the Ukrainianization of world monuments, which has already taken place in the Roman Colosseum, French Versailles, Westminster Abbey in London.
🎧 Now the tour in Ukrainian can also be heard by visitors of the European Solidarity Center in Gdansk – the unique center of Poland’s democratic movement, as well as the Vienna Imperial Treasury in Austria, the ancient city of Aspendos in Turkey and the Illinois Holocaust Museum in the United States, the third largest in the world.
🌏 In total, our project has already covered 75 landmarks in 43 countries of the world. Ukrainian sounds like a language of culture, historical memory and struggle for the future.
