From Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 631);

In you, O Lord, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me!
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭31:1‬ ‭

This morning, I received a message from my husband (who’s back home with our son while I’m away for the training). He said they had an air raid early in the morning, and our son woke up from the sirens. He kept waking up after that, checking every time if the danger had passed or asking, “Are there drones or ballistic missiles coming?” That’s not the way any child should wake up.

Being away from Ukraine for a few days, we realized how many horrible things have become our “new normal.” We barely notice them; we joke about them, but none of them were intended by God.
