11/25/2023 – And now, O Lord, for what do I wait?My hope is in you.

From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 639):

And now, O Lord, for what do I wait?
My hope is in you.
Psalm‬ ‭39:7‬ ‭

Every night, when I start my daily update with a day number, I feel slightly overwhelmed, having a hard time believing it’s been this long, but then I also remind myself it was that long, plus eight years of occupation of Crimea and parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. It does add a perspective, but it doesn’t get any less overwhelming.

There have been several waves of kamikaze drones launched at Ukraine in the past several hours. We’ll wait till morning to find out the details, but we keep trusting the Lord.

Today, many regions of Ukraine had hail, followed by bright skies and a rainbow. May it be God’s promise of hope to Ukraine!
