From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 646):
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
Psalm 46:9
It felt like a long day of an equally long week. It started with an air raid in the morning, followed by another one several hours later. Thankfully, there were no explosions in Kyiv, but it did certainly set the stage for the day.
With it being the first day of December, someone noticed that we survived the fall without blackouts. Indeed, last year, strikes on power infrastructure started in mid-October, yet now we start the calendar winter, and we’ve been blessed with relatively quiet days. Of course, it could mean an accumulation of missiles for a strike at a later time. But we choose to trust God.
