British Foreign Secretary David Cameron has told the House of Lords that there will be no reduction in UK military support for Ukraine next year, The Guardian reports.
Cameron stated that the UK has already extended over £4.7 billion ($5.9 billion) in humanitarian and economic aid to Ukraine. He assured that this support will persist, with next year’s funding expected to match or even exceed the current level, although Cameron said he did not have the exact figures for next year’s spending to hand.
Earlier, the White House alerted to a looming US funding crisis for Ukraine, emphasizing Congress’s swift action was needed to safeguard Kyiv by year-end.
