12/13/2023 – Imagine kids’ horror of waking up to explosions and flying shards of glass…

From Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (658th day):

I am one long train ride away from home. I had to spend the night in Poland to take the morning train and reach home late at night the same day.

Between jetlag and another missile attack on Kyiv, I didn’t get much sleep. For the second night in the row, ruzzians threw ballistic missiles at Kyiv. All 10 missiles and 10 drones were shot down by our air defense but pieces of shot down missiles still caused a lot of damage. 53 people have been injured, including 6 kids. There is damage to children’s hospitals. The windows blew out during the explosion. Imagine kids’ horror of waking up to explosions and flying shards of glass. A multi-storied residential building also got hit and people had to be evacuated in the middle of the night.

I don’t know if this is a part of systematic winter terror or ruzzians welcoming Zelensky and his negotiations in the USA. I am glad I will be home very soon. I’d rather be home during the night like this.

  1. Our Father in heaven,
    Deliver us from evil.
Give us today our daily bread.
    Lead us not into temptation.
Forgive us our trespasses; may we forgive those who trespass against us.
[Do we believe in the forgiveness of sins? That Jesus paid the price for theirs as well as mine?]
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Hallowed be Thy name, for Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory

  2. From: Sergei Nakul (pastor of Big City Church in Kyiv and military chaplain):“Rejoice for the Earth!” Christ has come! Welcome the King of kings! “. Praise is in Big City Church, Kyiv – Церква Великого Міста, Київ ! Let not the darkness of war overshadow the holiday of Christmas, but the light of Christmas Christ illuminates the darkness of war and warms us with the warmth of hope. Because Christ is our hope. A living hope. Have a blessed Advent!
