From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 667):
May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face to shine upon us,
that your way may be known on earth,
your saving power among all nations.
Psalm 67:1-2
We had our Christmas concert and the last day of school today.
It was such a blessing to get together and look back and see God’s faithfulness over the past months and trust in His goodness together.
It was a blessing to remember that we didn’t have blackouts compared to the same time last year.
It was a blessing not to have an air raid during the concert, especially since the night’s drone attack destroyed an apartment on a top floor in one of Kyiv’s districts and ruined a construction-in-progress private house in another one.
It was a blessing to see our school family together and to testify about what an incredible miracle it is for us to have this kind of life in a war-torn country.
So I repeat Psalm 67:1-2: “May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face to shine upon us, that His way may be known on earth,
His saving power among all nations.” Amen!
