12-year-old Arthur Brook is using his voice to shed light on the war in Ukraine. The young Ukrainian-American journalist from California has dedicated his YouTube channel, “Arthur Brook Reports,” to covering events in the country since Russia launched its full scale invasion.
Along with his sister, Sophia, Arthur actively protests Russian aggression in Ukraine, speaking out on behalf of their Ukrainian mother, grandparents, and Ukrainians everywhere. Through firsthand interviews with political figures, friends, and supporters of Ukraine, the youngster offers viewers, candid dispatches and discussions.
“My mom is Ukrainian, and my grandparents live in Kyiv. I know a lot about Ukrainians and decided to help them with my reports. I think it’s really an important thing to do,” he shares.
