From: Maia Mikhaluk in Kyiv (734th day):
Timothy Snyder, an American historian specializing in the history of Central and Eastern Europe, the Soviet Union, and the Holocaust, talks about the international implications ruzzia-Ukraine war and why so far Ukraine had to fight alone. He also brings up historical parallels of Poland holding Hitler for a while from attacking the rest of Europe.
Snyder says that the reason others don’t have to fight YET is because Ukrainians have been doing it so well for so long. To prove his point Ukraine downed two more ruzzian military planes today!!! But he is also correct – we need help; we need ammunition to continue fighting. The individuals in power who are withholding help from Ukraine are doing a disservice to their own country and will be remembered in history as those who were helping putin in his genocidal war.
