From: Ira Kapitonova (Day 757):
O Lord my God, in you do I take refuge;
save me from all my pursuers and deliver me
Psalm 7:1
Last night, a few minutes after I posted my update and went to bed, they reported that Russian strategic bombers were going to be launching missiles. At around 3 a.m., we received an air raid warning and slumbered to our hallway. I was so tired that I slept peacefully on my beanbag until my morning alarm went off. I immediately opened the news on my phone to check the outcome of the missile attack. Turns out, it was a heated night for Kyiv, but I didn’t hear anything because it was the other side of the city (on the right bank of the Dnipro river) that was affected.
Our air defense shot down all 29 cruise missiles and 2 ballistic missiles aimed at Kyiv. Since the missiles are so powerful, even when shot down, their destructive potential is decreased but not eliminated completely. A lot of times, its warhead (or some of its blocks) still detonates when they hit the ground. That’s why we see so much destruction even though the rockets have been intercepted.
Why do they keep attacking civilians hundreds of miles away from the frontline? Because they set out to kill and destroy as much as possible. Because they are pure evil.
