4/23/2924 – Kharkiv, you may be bleeding and weeping today, but I believe that you will be restored.

Today’s picture – a Russian missile hit a TV tower in Kharkiv (picturegrab).

From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 789):

‭“And now, O Lord, for what do I wait?
My hope is in you.
Psalm 39:7

Today, a Russian missile hit a TV tower in Kharkiv. Some may argue that TV isn’t that important in the 21st century, and I will not go into technical details of how that TV tower was or could be used. However, my mind immediately goes to a Kyiv TV tower, a Žižkov TV tower in Prague, or even an Eifel Tower in Paris. Those TV towers have become an integral part of a city skyline, a city trademark. Their symbolic meaning could been more significant than their technological impact. That’s why the destruction of a TV tower in Kharkiv pierced so many hearts.

Kharkiv, you may be bleeding and weeping today, but I believe that you will be restored.
