From: Ira Kapitonova (Day 807):

‭Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me,
for in you my soul takes refuge;
in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge,
till the storms of destruction pass by.
Psalm 57:1

This morning, Russian troops tried to cross Ukrainian border in one more location, about 30 kilometers northeast of Kharkiv. Our defenders have been expecting this move for a while, so they were ready to push them back. To be honest, everyone realizes that living close to the Russian border is not safe and will not be safe for a while. Right now, it looks like they were just testing grounds, distracting our forces, and they may try invading in the direction of Sumy as well. Some analysts say they want to create a 10-km buffer zone to have more room for their maneuvers. We don’t know what’s going on in their heads, but we keep praying for them to fall into their own nets.

Today, they have been massively evacuating people from the Kharkiv region (Vovchansk area specifically) as the Russians kept shelling those villages and towns. This merciless cruelty is beyond my understanding.

Please, pray for the Kharkiv region and all the people who are under the threat of occupation.

‭I cry out to God Most High,
to God who fulfills his purpose for me.
He will send from heaven and save me;
he will put to shame him who tramples on me.
God will send out his steadfast love
and his faithfulness!
Psalm 57:2-3
