Finally in Kyiv there is a street in honor of the outstanding Ukrainian, Professor Ivan Ogienko, who is known to us as the translator of the Holy Scriptures in Ukrainian! (Previously, the street was dedicated to one of the bolsheviks, Lukashevych, and it’s almost in the center of the city).
Read God’s word in your native language, as sought by professor ogíênko. Read the Scriptures in order to meet Jesus Christ – the Lord and Savior of the world, listen to Him, and follow Him!
Remember, “All scripture is inspired by God, and is useful for teaching, for rebuking, for correction, for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, prepared for every good work,” 2 Tim. 3:16-17. UBIO: The Bible in Per. Ivan Ogienko, 1962.
Do you use Ogienko’s translation?

From Pastor Sergei Nakul in Kyiv: Greetings from the Presbyteria of Evangelical Presbyterian Churches in Ukraine! This is the first Presbyteria offline since the full-scale invasion of the state by the aggressor! The Lord remains faithful, and holds us in His right hand! The hymn is bursting “Mighty in us fortress God! » based on psalm 46!
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble,
Therefore are we not that afraid, as the earth shakes, and when the mountains be moved into the heart of the seas!
His waters rumble and boil, because of His greatness the mountains tremble.
The river, its vultures make the city of God happy, the holiest of the places of temptation of the Almighty.
God is within him, let him not falter, God will help him at break of day.
The nations were making noise, the kingdoms were shaking, and he gave his voice – and the earth melted.
The Lord of Savaoth is with us, our fortress is the God of Jacob.
Go look at the Lord’s works – what destruction has done on earth!
To the edge of the earth he stops wars, he breaks the bow and toro йtʹ spears, burns chariots with fire!
“Consider and know that God I, will rise among the nations, will rise on the earth! “
The Lord of Savavot is with us, our fortress is the God of Jacob!
