From: New Voice of Ukraine 🇺🇦 Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine (HUR) was aware of Russian plans for an offensive in Kharkiv Oblast, and all relevant Ukrainian authorities were informed, said HUR spokesman Andriy Yusov on a national TV on May 12.
The Russians launched an offensive “according to a schedule” that was known to Ukraine.
“As it is the duty of Main Intelligence Directorate, all necessary authorities and their leadership were informed,” Yusov said.
Fighting is currently ongoing in Kharkiv Oblast, HUR’s special forces are involved in repelling Russian assault as well. Russia has sent soldiers from Moscow and Leningrad military districts to storm Kharkiv Oblast.
