Oh, grant us help against the foe,
for vain is the salvation of man!
With God we shall do valiantly;
it is he who will tread down our foes.
Psalm 60:11-12
Ukraine’s Security Service said they prevented four terrorist attacks in Kyiv on May 9 (Victory Day celebration for Russia). The terrorists were planting explosive devices within construction materials in a prominent hypermarket chain and close to a café to detonate at peak hours.
How incredible is God’s mercy that this was prevented!
Ukraine also managed to bring back nine children from the occupation. They said that starting from 6th grade, all children are forced to join the “youth army” (a Russian organization similar to Hitler Youth /Hitlerjugend of Nazi Germany). And in high school, they go to the cadet corps, where they learn to shoot machine guns, operate drones, and dig trenches. Indoctrination of youth in the occupied territories is a war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law.
Praise God, little by little, we are able to bring children back to safety. Over the past two years, the Save Ukraine organization managed to get back 321 Ukrainian children from Russia and the temporarily occupied territories, of which 88 are orphans. However, according to the latest statistics, 19,546 children have been illegally brought out of Ukraine.
