From: New Voice of Ukraine 🇺🇦 President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy strongly condemns the attack on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico that took place on May 15, the Ukrainian leader’s X postreads.
“The attack on Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico is appalling,” Zelenskyy said.
“We strongly condemn this act of violence against our neighboring partner state’s head of government.”

The international community should make every effort to ensure that “violence does not become the norm in any country, form, or sphere,” he added.
“We sincerely hope Robert Fico recovers soon and express our solidarity with the people of Slovakia,” the head of state said.
The attack on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico
The PM of Slovakia, Robert Fico, was shot near the building of the Slovak parliament on the afternoon of May 15.
Slovak media reported that Fico approached people in the street, after which several shots were fired and the politician fell to the ground.
