I feel like I’ve been writing about the Kharkiv region all the time. I wish raising awareness was enough to stop this cruelty. Today, Russia attacked a recreational location in the Kharkiv region, killing 6 people, including a 7-month pregnant woman. There were no military objects or people nearby, only civilians enjoying a spring weekend. A total of 11 civilians were killed by Russian missiles in the Kharkiv region today.
News like this may be crippling. However, thankfully, some reports encourage. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Baiba Braže, ran a half marathon to fundraise for drones for Ukraine. Her number was 815 – according to the number of days Ukraine has been fighting Russian full-scale aggression. She managed to raise 10,000 euros. Thank you, Latvia!
