
From: New Voice of Ukraine 🇺🇦 The United States has allocated a new $275 million package of artillery and anti-tank ammunition for the Ukrainian military, U.S. State Department announced on May 24.
The press release outlined the contents of the package as follows:
- Ammunition for HIMARS rocket artillery
- 155mm and 105mm artillery shells
- 60mm mortar rounds
- TOW anti-tank missiles
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems
- Precision-guided aerial munitions
- Small arms, additional small arms ammunition, and grenades
- Demolition munitions
- Anti-tank mines
- Tactical evacuation vehicles
- Helmets, body armor, and other protective gear
- Spare parts, maintenance, and other support equipment
The DoD added that the package is aimed at helping Ukraine counter Russia’s Kharkiv offensive.
“This PDA [Presidential Drawdown Authority] package, which is part of our efforts to help Ukraine repel Russia’s assault near Kharkiv…; it will provide Ukraine additional capabilities to meet its most urgent battlefield needs…,” the message said.
