From: Kyiv Post— U.S. President Joe Biden’s absence at the upcoming global peace summit in Switzerland would be met with applause by Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a press conference in Brussels on May 28.
“Putin will welcome his absence with applause. Putin himself will applaud. And even standing,” Zelensky said.
Earlier, media reported that Biden is likely to miss the Peace Summit as it coincides with a fundraising event for his re-election campaign.
