The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) recognized that what Russia is doing in the occupied territories is cultural genocide. They attempt to erase our culture and identity. A recent proof of it came from the Kharkiv region. Someone’s home was looted. Along with the stolen valuables, Russian soldiers also took vyshyvanka (embroidered shirt), which has been passed on through generations. They didn’t take it for its value. They took it to burn it down. How amazing that clothing is so threatening to the invaders!
Russia is increasing drone production. They don’t care about quality or precision – quantity is all that matters to them. According to WSJ, they are recruiting young female students from Africa to work in their production facilities. In exchange, they offer to pay three times the wage at home, with airfare, free accommodation, and a university diploma to join the work-study program. They say that over a thousand women have gone to the locations, while an additional thousand students will likely join in 2024. How disgusted I am by this disregard for people and using them blindly as accessories to their war crimes!
They say Russia is going to accumulate about 300,000 troops along our northern border for more convenient terrorism.
