The Kharkiv printing house Factor-Druk will be restored by The Howard G. Buffett Foundation.
The printing house was destroyed by a Russian attack on 23 May, burning over 50,000 books.
The plan is to restore it in 4-5 months.
7 employees were killed in the attack.
“The Russians are trying to break our cultural identity, as they did hundreds of years ago, to cut off our access to language and literature and, most importantly, to destroy our statehood. They will not succeed,” wrote Oleh Syniehubov, Governor of Kharkiv Oblast.
