A slightly cooler day. A field trip with my students. Shorter power outages which meant the benefits of an elevator, shower, and a home-cooked meal. One could call it an almost perfect day.
Unfortunately, our “neighbors” don’t give us the luxury of perfect days. The air raid is spreading across Ukraine with several groups of kamikaze drones. There has been a warning of a marine missile launcher taking its position in the Black Sea and several strategic bombers taking off in Russia. We have been warned not to ignore the sirens this night.
How long, o Lord, will you allow it?
