From: New Voice of Ukraine 🇺🇦 Only three steps will separate Ukraine from full EU membership after the accession talks are over, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Telegram on June 24.
He highlighted these steps in his post:
- The European Commission conclusion on negotiations’ successful completion and Ukraine achieving compliance with the accession criteria
- Decision on signing the Agreement on Ukraine’s Accession to the EU
- Agreement ratification by the EU members parliaments, and Ukraine’s acquisition of full membership in the EU
Ukraine’s accession to the EU will be an event of global significance for Europe, Kuleba said.
“The inaugural part is set to take place tomorrow, followed by six clusters of negotiations, which will be opened and closed – experts in the relevant fields will work and bring Ukraine’s legislation into line with the EU standards.”
