7/1/2024 — Polish FM outlines steps for the West to stop Putin’s war in Ukraine

From: New Voice of Ukraine 🇺🇦 “Contrary to its crazy propaganda, Russia is not invincible,” said Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski during a lecture at the British Ditchley Foundation, he wrote on Xon June 29.

“Russia lost some of its wars, so the Kremlin can be stopped and even defeated — we just forgot about it,” Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said.

“Ronald Reagan said that his strategy towards the Soviet Union was simple: ‘We win and they lose.’ I like this approach.”

He also believes that to gain an advantage, Western countries need to “learn how to win the game of escalation.”

“For example, we could confiscate all 300 billion euros of Russian sovereign assets,” Sikorski added.

“Putin has already written them off; he has no hope of getting them back. But he also doesn’t think we have the power to take them. So far, we are proving him right.”

On June 21, Sikorski said that Putin was “overly worried” that if he loses the war against Ukraine, Russia could lose “the thousand-year history of Russian statehood,” because it never existed without Ukraine.
