🇩🇪 German Chancellor Scholz said that Berlin would not support a ceasefire that would involve Ukraine’s surrender.
Scholz called Putin’s proposal strange. The Kremlin master said he would be ready for a ceasefire “if Ukraine also agrees to further annexations.”
According to the chancellor, this shows “how cynical they are thinking there and that the Russian leader has no intention of ending his war of aggression.” Putin talks about peace talks only to continue the war.
“We will not allow this,” Scholz assures.
