From: Euromaiden Press — The Republican Party’s National Committee approved its 2024 electoral platform on July 8.
Called “America First: A Return to Common Sense”, it does not mention Ukraine or Russia directly. The word war appears in three sentences where a pledge is made to establish peace in Europe, Middle East; the triumph of America in WWII and Cold War; and the need to restore peace through strength.
Notably, the document does identify Israel as U.S.’s partner. No mention is made of Ukraine or the EU.
It must still be formally approved by a full vote at the Republican National Convention.
