Today has been announced as a day of mourning in Kyiv after a ruzzian missile barrage hit Ukraine’s largest children’s hospital and killed dozens around the country yesterday. But really the whole country is in mourning and is in shock. Every time we wonder if ruzzian invaders can fall any lower in their brutality they prove that they can.

Ukrainians channeled their shock and grief into practical actions. People donated 100 million hryvna for rebuilding the hospital in three hours following the missile strike. This hospital was a place of hope. It had expertise, experts, and equipment that tackled the most difficult health challenges of its little patients. Ruzzians tried to destroy that hope with their missiles, but hope is not so easily destroyed. Thousands of people in Kyiv rushed to join the effort of rescuing children and doctors who were buried under the rubble of the destroyed building of a hospital. Initially, civilians were allowed to join the rescuers, but very quickly the number of volunteers was higher than would have been constructive help.
All the patients of the hospital are relocated to other hospitals or discharged to home. It’s not without consequences. The director of the hospital said, “ This attack will have long-term consequences, patients will not receive adequate care, and our specialized services with high-quality equipment will not be available for the foreseeable future. We will have serious long-term consequences for the medical field of treating children. So this attack did some serious damage. And we will feel its consequences for a long time. And the people who were there will feel the effects for a long time to come.”
Ukraine has a list of every ruzzian who was a part of yesterday’s missile attack. We continue to pray for God’s punishment on the heads of war criminals – the justice that would surpass the human justice.

” I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Rev.21
