Today, we’d like to tell you about the invention which has changed the world, made by the Ukrainian Igor Sikorsky.
Igor Sikorsky was born in Kyiv. After the Bolsheviks came to power, he left his homeland and emigrated to the United States. There he invented and flew into the skies the first-ever helicopter, a pioneering invention that would ferry every U.S. president for over fifty years.
