7/26/2024 — Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!

From: Ira Kapitonova in Kyiv (Day 883)

Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity!

Psalm 133:1

It’s my third birthday during the full-scale war. I remember how I wished my first one was the only one. Even though the circumstances don’t allow for grand celebrations, I feel incredibly blessed to receive so many kind words from so many of my friends. It was an encouragement and a reminder of God’s faithfulness and grace.

Tonight, I saw a report about six strategic bombers taking off in Russia. We were just sitting down for dinner, so as we prayed for the meal, we also prayed for these bombers to disappear and their missiles to fall into the sea. A couple of hours later, we saw the report that all the bombers landed without launching rockets. They did relocate to a different airfield (which may mean preparation for a new missile attack), but I choose to consider this incident my birthday gift from God.

I wish I could use my birthday to make a difference in someone’s life. If you want to become a part of it, I will leave some options in the comments.
