Today, we remember another horrific terrorist attack, the mass murder of Ukrainian POWs in temporarily occupied Olenivka on the night of July 29, 2022. They targeted a colony in occupied Olenivka, the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian prisoners of war, including Mariupol defenders, were held.
Due to the attack, about 50 people were killed and 130 were injured.
Russia blamed it on Ukraine, but the evidence and testimonies of surviving POWs who returned from captivity prove them wrong.
Two years later, we remember the victims of Olenivka and long for justice.
