Lord, have mercy!
From: Ira Kapitonova (Day 888)
Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
you preserve my life;
you stretch out your hand
against the wrath of my enemies,
and your right hand delivers me.
Psalm 138:7 ESV
These verses from Psalm 138 seem very fitting after I read the following update: “Monitoring channels report the takeoff of a group of strategic bombers in Russia. Three submarines with Kalibr missiles on board are also on combat duty. The threat of kamikaze drones continues. Don’t ignore the air raids this night. Charge your gadgets and power banks.”
It was disheartening, especially after we had a whole day without power outages and were told that the next three months would have minimal power outages if new damage were not done. Of course, we knew that new damage was inevitable, but it would be nice to catch a break.
Tonight, I’m praying for God’s protection over Ukraine, for the enemy weapons to malfunction, for their efforts to be futile, and for the safety of our defenders.
