8/1/2024 — Ukraine will not lift sanctions against Lukoil and that they do not pose a threat to Slovakia

From: Kyiv Post— Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that Ukraine will not lift sanctions against Lukoil and that they do not pose a threat to Slovakia.

Shmyhal emphasized that Kyiv insists on the maximum reduction of partners’ dependence on Russian oil.

“Slovakia is our reliable partner, from whom we do not expect any blackmail or threats. Because threatening Ukraine, which is defending itself against an aggressor, so that the terrorist state can continue to make its bloody profits is a dubious course,” he added.
