From: New Voice of Ukraine πΊπ¦ French writer Marc Levy published his The Symphony of Monsters, a book, dedicated to the abduction of Ukrainian children, in Russian, the author wrote on his official website.
He did it so that the Russians know about the crimes committed by their soldiers and government.
βI never knew my paternal grandparents because they were deported to Auschwitz,” Marc Levy wrote.
“Growing up, when I asked my teachers why nothing was done to stop Nazi deportations and abductions, the answer always was βwe didnβt knowβ. When I learned about the large scale, systematic deportation of Ukrainian children, I decided to write a novel about it. So that those who will read it will never be able to say βwe didnβt knowβ again.β
Now The Symphony of Monsters is in the public domain – thus, nothing stops you from downloading and reading it.
The novel is also being prepared for publication in Ukrainian by Staryi Lev Publishing House.
(Staryi Lev β literally Old Lion β is a reference to Lviv city in the Western Ukraine).
