From: New Voice of Ukraine 🇺🇦 Ukrainian saber fencer Olha Kharlan expressed her emotions after winning bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Tribuna.com reported on July 30.
“This is my fifth medal, and I am grateful to God for winning it,” she said.
Kharlan said this medal was the most important one for her.
“I wanted to win it for my family,” she said. “I also wanted to do it for myself because this is very difficult. Over the past few years, especially the last two and a half, I was home maybe five times, each for about a week.”
