From: New Voice of Ukraine 🇺🇦 On August 13, the Moldovan Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires in Moscow was summoned by the Russian Foreign Ministry over false claims that F-16s intended for Ukraine would be stationed in Moldova. Moldovan diplomats said the Russian ministry was misled by fake news.
The Moldovan Foreign Ministry emphasized that Moldova, a neutral state, does not and will not accept military equipment, including aircraft, for Ukraine. It also pointed out that Russia is the only nation deploying troops and munitions in Moldova without consent.
The Moldovan Foreign Ministry urged Russia to avoid spreading misinformation about Moldova.
Additionally, the Romanian Ministry of Defense refuted false claims spread by Russian-affiliated sources about a Romanian fuel depot fire supposedly caused by Ukrainian refugees….
