From: New Voice of Ukraine 🇺🇦 Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof announced a new aid package worth over €200 million ($221 million) for Ukraine during his first official visit to the country on Sept. 2, according to a post on his X page.
During his visit to Zaporizhzhya, the prime minister confirmed that Ukraine can count on continued support from the Netherlands. He also expressed admiration for the city’s residents, who continue to live just a few dozen kilometers from the frontline.
“We must do everything possible to help Ukraine keep going,” Schoof wrote.
“On the front lines, but also in people’s daily lives. That’s why the Netherlands is providing a substantial new support package worth over €200 million.”
The Dutch official specified that the new support package will be directed towards protecting and repairing energy infrastructure, as well as providing additional funding for humanitarian aid.
